In a previous post, we explained how you can grow and store your own veggies in your pantry.
In this post, I want to go into more detail about how to plant your own vegetables in the garden, how you’ll make your own compost and where you can buy them.
Vegetables grow in the same way as plants do.
Plants need light, moisture and nutrients.
They need to be watered regularly, they need water from the soil and fertiliser to thrive.
In order to grow your own food, you need to know what you need and what you can afford to buy.
Read more about how gardening works and what to do to ensure you don’t waste money.
Before you can plant your vegetables, you’ll need to get some basic knowledge.
The first thing you need is a pot.
Pot is one of the easiest and cheapest way to grow food.
Most of us have one or two pots, but you can also get a compost pot if you want to save money on space.
There are many varieties of pots.
They vary in their colour, the size and shape of the pots, the shape of their handles and the way they’re built.
You’ll also need a small container to store your food.
These are called grow lights.
You can buy grow lights in many colours or shapes, and they can be any size you like.
There’s a range of different types, so you’ll want to choose one that’s right for you.
You also need to decide how much space you’ll use for your vegetables.
If you’ve already bought your own garden or have plans to plant vegetables, consider how you want them to look and how you’re going to use the space.
You’ll want a spot for your plants and some space for your compost.
The best place to store the vegetables is in a compost pile or in a pot that’s been fitted with a lid.
Make sure you put the lid on the top of the pot to prevent it from drying out and being picked up by insects.
If you have a compost bin, you can make a compost space out of it.
If not, put the bin on top of a composted surface to make a pot for your vegetable.
